It's been awhile, about two years actually, and I've hardly been around; here, home, or my friends.

I'm going to be 21 this December; I'm a junior in college, spent my first two years in Comp. Sci. and now I'm a freshly-minted Journalism student (what I want to do with that, besides write for Kotaku or even IGN, and then take Drew Karpyshyn's job over at Bioware... actually, that's a pretty good plan, I'm sticking with that).

I still write once in awhile, not so much poetry anymore, but fanfics (whether that be a step up or down I'll let you decide) and the occasional original piece.

I'm gaming more than ever, I think, but right now it feels like all I'm doing is waiting, and playing Oblivion in the meantime- damn that game has shelf life, especially with the amazing community of talented modders that have sprung up around it- waiting, for Fallout 3, Fable 2, Force Unleashed (though I'm beginning to get nervous about that one) and some news about Mass Effect 2 or just some news on more DLC for Mass Effect (soon, please?).

I haven't been taking many pictures, mostly because I'm mourning the loss of my dad's Olympus. Don't get me wrong- my new Panasonic Lumix is not too shabby, but that Olympus was just something special. Besides, I've already had to send the Lumix in once for repair, vs. the Olympus that I know for a fact was dropped a few times yet still works like new.

I'm living in an apartment now (two years in the dorms was enough) with my boyfriend. I (re)met him the fall of my freshman year and we've been inseparable since. I'm thinking it was karma, since I had to go through so many assholes first. But maybe that just means I appreciate him more. I like to think so
